Our Solar System

There are eight planets in our Solar System. Follow along with the videos to create your own planets poster and discover the eight different worlds that can found in our Solar System.

By the end of todays workshop you will be able to;

Recall the names and order of the planets in the Solar System.

Task 1: Click play and interact with the 3D model of the Solar System below.

Using your mouse or track pad you can click and drag the model around to look at it in 3D, can you spot the Earth?

Slow the video down by clicking on the ‘Take001’ button and selecting x0.1.

Using your mouse or track pad you can also zoom in, but looking at the objects up close can you locate the star at the centre of the Solar System?
